i have atleast 4 major credit debts that was in the early 90's i thought bad debt only remains on your credit for no longer than 7 years its almost over 10 years but they still show up on my credit reports. is there anything i can go legally to (true credit)

and what happens to your credit after those 7 years? i owe about $600. 00 on a credit card, i am not saying i would not pay it, i am just asking. no, i am pretty sure that they can not collect on that debt after seven years of zero (true credit)
